Aim of the workshop

@ IAS-15, Baden-baden

Speakers give an insight into the topic around the human-machine interaction when driving by car. Issues will be discussed which approaches can be pursued in the future. The driving event in the afternoon we test some driver assistance systems in cars - getting an idea how humans feel in cars with advanced driver assistance systems.

Some goals of the workshop

  • Human-machine interaction in autonomous vehicles
  • human-centered approach: do not forget the most important aspect
  • workload, stress and comfort experiences in automated vehicles
  • Knowledge in evaluation criteria of advanced driver assistant systems
  • Knowledge about the importance of customer acceptance

 

New ideas are to be generated in order to put human at the center of autonomous vehicles
